New Rising Trend on YouTube

"Try not to laugh" challenges are rapidly gaining popularity on YouTube due to participation of big name YouTubers. "Try not to laugh" or "You laugh, you lose" challenges are not new to YouTube, with videos being made by many different channels for years. However, these "Try not to laugh" challenges have recently re-appeared in the limelight due to many popular YouTubers, such as " PewDiePie " attempting them for their viewers. These "Try not to laugh" challenge videos are made up of a series of, normally unrelated, through which the viewer must not laugh in order to have 'won' the challenge. Many popular YouTubers film themselves struggling not to laugh in response to these clips in order to piece together a more amusing video, featuring not just the content from the do not to laugh challenge, but also their own, often hilarious, attempts to mask their own laughter and amusement. The Human Mail Challenge, fake or real?

The Human Mail Challenge involves shipping yourself from one point to another through the postal system.  The Human Mail Challenge is among a recent string of challenge videos that have been attempted by many popular YouTubers such as  Ricegum  and  Kill'em  who have both made videos on the topic, but is it real? Ethan from h3h3productions made a video  addressing the absurd nature of this challenge, specifically debunking  Kill'em's video , through the use of satire, ...

Weekly YouTube Drama Dump

Welcome to the Weekly YouTube Drama dump. Let's catch up on what happened this past week on YouTube. Big news recently as Pewdiepie, the biggest YouTuber currently has let a racist remark slip while livestreaming some Video Games. This has caused a lot of controversy around him and other many YouTubers are making videos about what happened, Pewdiepie has already apologized for what he said and seems sincerely sorry for what he did. Here is  Pewdiepie's apology video In other news Youtubers KSI and Joe Weller are going to face off in a boxing match, which I didn't believe was actually a thing until I saw the press conference for it on YouTube. It seems extremely faked and looks to be done for views and money by two YouTubers who have fallen out of the spotlight in recent years. This is a  Link to the Press Conference  in question. This seems to be the two bigger drama events that happened within the YouTube scene last week. - Connor
